Israel Dupont

Israel Dupont of Crocodopolis.net and the Florida statewide program, "Living with Alligators" has been a long time colleague, mentor and friend of the O.R.S. Director Chris Law.  As a former keeper at Gatorland in Orlando, Florida and a member of the IUCN/SSC Crocodile Specialist Group, his support towards the Ohio Reptile Service's cause has proven invaluable.   His network of contacts has allowed us to relocate crocodilians across the United States and help them into homes where they will receive the best of care and treatment.

Rob Carmichael

Internationally known for his herpetological endeavors, particularly with reptiles of a venomous nature, Rob Carmichael has been yet another wonderful asset to the Ohio Reptile Service.  Rob is the curator of the Wildlife Discovery Center out of  Lake Forest, IL.  The Director of the Ohio Reptile Service has had the personal pleasure of visiting Rob's facility and his beautiful collection of what could possibly be the United State's largest collection of rattlesnakes.  Rob's "The Grass is rattling" exhibit is truly educational and awe inspiring to say the least.  We strongly support Rob's endeavor's in the herpetological community and look up to him as a true example of what the zoological and herpetological community has to offer the world in regards to wildlife conservation and education.  The other beautiful part of Rob's facility is that it's not entirely based upon reptiles.  They also have a wonderful falconry department as well, in which Rob plays a tremendous part of.

Dr. Bryan Grieg Fry

Anyone who has been involved in herpetoculture or any form of herpetological interests surrounding venomous reptiles knows the name of Dr. Bryan Fry aka "VenomDoc".  He's traveled around the globe studying various toxins delivered by reptiles, marine life and even our world's two known venomous mammals.  His research is often groundbreaking, such as the discovery that the long-thought Komodo Dragon of containing a bacteria-rich saliva causing fatalities is actually now determined to be a venomous lizard.  Through his research, many of the formerly thought "harmless" lizards have now been determined to carry venomous properties, and delivery systems.  This being said, our formerly "two" venomous lizard species has rapidly grown to a mind-blowing nearly 100 venomous lizard species!  Dr. Fry has been a great colleague and an inspiration to anyone interested in field research and biological studies.
