Supporters of the Ohio Reptile Service
The Ohio Reptile Service attempts to save as many homeless reptiles as we possibly can. We strive to find new beneficial outlets to getting ill or afflicted reptiles back into good health and into a proper home where they will never have to endure such conditions again. However, while we take great pride in our success, we realize that we couldn't have accomplished it without the help of some frequent supporters. It is here that we wish to acknowledge those individuals or organizations for their dedication to saving animals:
ReptileTubs.com owned and operated by Eric Erb has provided various sized tubs at either reduced cost, or free for the use of housing new animals. His contributions have been greatly appreciated and have truly been a major help for unplanned reptile surrenders.
The Ohio Wildlife Center works hard to save a vast number of native wildlife so they can be returned happy, strong and healthy back to the wild. However, as an exotic wildlife rescue, the Ohio Reptile Service of course has encountered animals that were beyond the ability of help and needed to be humanely euthanized. Such situations can be costly for a low income rescue service. However, the Ohio Wildlife Center has been gracious enough to provide us low cost euthanasia services. It is always a sad day when we have to resort to this measure, but when we do, it is always appreciated that the animal can be put down quickly and by qualified individuals to ensure that the animal goes peacefully.
Thank you Ohio Wildlife Center!!
The Ohio Reptile Service also owes a tremendous "Thank you" to Israel Dupont of Crocodopolis! Through his networks, we've managed to get a great many of alligators into wonderful facilities where they will receive the very best of care and treatment. No alligators kept in bathtubs, or small tanks. Only alligators provided nice 24/7 outdoor enclosures with space to move and large ponds to swim in. All the while, they are receiving veterinary care if necessary and a good staple diet provided by someone who truly cares!
Thank you, Israel and Crocodopolis!!
